Masters basketball league moved next week

Masters Federation chairman Ray Lizama said that the scheduled games this week will be suspended while certification training for the referees and table officials is being wrapped up.

Following the opening ceremony last Tuesday, the Masters Basketball League had its kick-off game between Ebisuya and Team 6.

Ebisuya beat Team 6, 84-52.

This week’s holding off of the league, Lizama added will also enable teams to work on their uniforms and meet all MBFNMI requirements.

The league, he said will resume on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.

MBFNMI, he added also would like to remind all the coaches and players the league mandatory requirements to submit waiver forms, membership fee of $5 and 50 percent of the $300 entry fee.
