The group was certified by instructor Lucio Aldan from the NMI-Chapter Red Cross, with the help of Red Cross Directors John Hirsh, Meng Taman, and Gil Muna.
All certified members were proud to have a “vital skill” that is essential to them as a sports organization.
According to MBFNMI chairman Ray Lizama, the four-hour course gave the MBFNMI “the opportunity” to learn a life-saving skill that will better prepare them for the future.
The course provided the MBFNMI board members and players with exams, lectures, as well as hands-on activities that relate to CPR-AED procedures.
18 people were certified that day, according to Lizama.
