Lerio was dormant in the first quarter but began to demonstrate some good actions during the second period, creating 17 points.
Lerio backed up his well crafted offense from the initial quarter, by pouring in nine points in the third quarter.
Bonbon Cadagat of MIGS helped out Lerio in the offense with his 13 points in the third quarter to close the match.
But MIGS victory did not come easy as NRG was determined to post a solid defense and equally well crafted offensive strategy.
Both teams finished the fourth quarter in a tie, 110 all, and went on to complete the match in overtime.
NRG’s Errol Peredo bombarded MIGS’ zone with 22 points.
Although Peredo was not able to fashion a single shot during overtime, fellow NRG – Jericho Cruz stepped for the team to assist with a couple of two-pointers and a series of charity shots behind the free-throw line.
On the side of MIGS, Cruz and Jhun Estolas were the only two players who were able to tally in the scoreboard.
Nevertheless, they were able to bring MIGS to clinch a win, sinking in shots under the basket.
