Mobil grips top spot in Emon Lodge caging

As the league has scheduled their games to be every Sunday, five games per Sunday, at the Gilbert C. Ada gymnasium. The teams that are participating in this league are Tropical Laundry, Marianas Resort, Joeten Superstore, Mobil, Armatech, Marianas Wireless, MBI-Right Guard, Kagman Sparks, Oche’s, and Wings Travel.

With 8 games already played team Mobil remains undefeated with a record score of 8 wins and no losses. Team Armatech follows team Mobil winning 7 games and losing only 1 game followed by Marianas Wireless winning 6 games losing 2.

Two teams so far have been battling it out for fourth place. Team Kagaman Sparks, and team Oche’s with record scores of winning 4 games losing 3.

Wing’s Travel and Joeten Superstore are trailing behind by winning 2 games and losing 6. With these standings unfortunately team Tropical Laundry is at the bottom of the totem pole right now.

In last Sunday’s schedule, Emon Lodge suffered a major drought of basketball games, as 4 teams forfeited with not enough players to support these teams. They are: Tropical Laundry, Mobil, Marianas Resort, and Wings Travel.

However, with the games that did go through, Marianas Wireless defeated Joeten Superstore by 4 points, 72-68.

With a sour taste of revenge from their first loss to Marianas Wireless, team Armatech buried team Oche’s also by 4 points, 88-84. And with the last game that pushed through that afternoon, MBI-Right Guard knocked Sparks to the ground by 15 points, 73-58.

With the play offs fast approaching, the crowd is very much encouraged to come and support their teams if they are having a lazy afternoon with nothing to do. The games start at eight in the morning and they end at four in the afternoon at the Gilbert C. Ada gymnasium. With the championship fast approaching things the games will get more exciting.
