Mongami defeated Brenda Rideb and Vince Cabrera, but Simeon Kapileo bumped him into the loser’s bracket.
Cabrera defeated Annie Tesiro, while Kapileo topped Norman Tenorio and Ron Chisato before meeting Mongami.
Chisato also had a win over Mei Rengiil.
Rengiil came back by eliminating Tenorio and Cabrera, and Tesiro finished off Rideb – both however, ended up losing to Chisato.
Mongami took out Chisato in the loser’s bracket final to set up a rematch with Kapileo. He took the first game then snatched a close win to take first place. Mongami won $20 and a trophy from Pacific Amusement.
