The West Coast Softball League opening games were held at the Ngeremlengui Softball Park in Ngermetengel Hamlet and Ongiall Group is the major sponsor of the league responsible for scheduling and officiating of the games.
The people of Ngatpang are thankful and appreciative of their Delegate Jerry Nabeyama who agreed to sponsor them by paying their registration fees of a $100.00 for each team and providing them brand new baseball caps. Delegate Nabeyama acknowledges the efforts and contributions of his fellow citizens of Ngatpang such as Edwin Arurang, who co-sponsored the teams by providing uniform T-shirts and Legislators Ridep Emesiochel and Johnson Emesiochel of Ngatpang State Legislature.Delegate Nabeyama declares that he wants to be true to his promise to his people that he will serve them in every way possible in the ‘fulfillment of their dreams and aspirations towards building of a better future for their beloved Ngatpang State.’Delegate Jerry Nabeyama, who chairs the appropriate HOD Committee on Cultural, Youth & Social Affairs, says with confidence that both Ngatpang teams have exceptional talents and will perform well in the league and most importantly they will display sportsmanship like conducts and serve as good examples for other players in the west coast league.
