After getting themselves in a very discouraging position, behind by many runs entering the last inning of the game and playing in a full-packed bleachers cheering for their opponent, the Spiders team kept their composure and concentration at bat in trying to set a comeback win against Bethania ladies. As the game progresses in the bottom of the fifth inning, PHS was able to create scoring opportunities courtesy of good hits bringing in 9 ladies to the homeplate. Struck by series of errors committed by their opponent, the Spiders were able to grab the lead 10 – 9 and the win for 2009 ISL Softball.
In other story, Palau Mission Academy Baseball team hang on to a 1 point advantage, 11 – 10, against Palau High School to get a grip on their first ISL – Baseball trophy since the time they joined the high school baseball games.
