Ngeskebei, Fong’s outrun Bud’s, 62-55

The Brothers erased their five-point deficit and led, 42-39 by the third quarter, but it was Matt Duenas and Ranjo Ferrer who sealed the match with a combined 11 points.

Fong’s Bakery jumped ahead on fast break plays to come out on top, 21-15 in the opening 10 minutes. Ferrer and Ngeskebei connected their 3’s with a couple of layups from Lawrence Rollon.

Brother’s RJ Castro fired back and scored 17 of his 24 points while Joy Dayrit paired his free throw with a layup. The Brothers’ control of the court didn’t last long in the final quarter as Fongs’ Joseph Aguilar, Jaydee Duhon, and Jomer Diyco stepped in for a 10-point total.
