Zhi Yun Li sets up for the tee off in the first round of the IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego, California.
THE Northern Mariana Islands is proud to announce that junior golfer Zhi Yun Li is representing the NMI in the prestigious IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego, California, which is set for July 9 to 11.
Alongside this significant event, Zhi Yun Li will also compete in two other notable golf tournaments in the region.
Zhi Yun Li’s journey to San Diego has been made possible thanks to the tremendous support from the NMI community and generous sponsors.
On June 22, 2024, a successful fundraising golf tournament was held, drawing in-kind and monetary donations from various supporters. This outpouring of support has ensured that Zhi Yun Li can focus on his game and represent the NMI with pride.
