Consisting of more than 50 kids, the Oleai-based festival was headed by coaches Jershwin Angeles and Norman Del Rosario, who obtained the concept from FIFA.
As part of the program, the group was separated into each participating club – MP United, Paire Football Club, Shirley’s Football Club, Matansa Football Club, and Tan Holdings Football Club – and rotated along the field’s six stations to take part in different activities.
At the same time, competitive games were played by the NMIFA’s 8U and 11U divisions at San Antonio Elementary School and Hopwood Elementary School.
The festivals were held to conclude the groups’ regular season, which started in September. Another batch of games will be held in March, during the NMIFA’s spring season.
