Eliseo Castro who was watching over the kids age five to 12 said he is confident that the NMI team will win this year as he saw how excellent the boys and girls in batting and fielding.
The children were practicing at the Francisco M. Palacios Baseball Field with coaches Ben Mesa and Tom Camacho.
Castro said the children will leave on July 18 and right after the opening ceremony at the Dededo, the kids will compete with Guam counterparts on July 19.
Next game and final day of games will be on July 20 at the Inarakan.
The kids age five to eight will compete in Tee Ball batting, the kids nine to 10 in Babe Ruth competition, and the boys 11 to 12 years old will play Guam teams in LittleLeague.
The Tee Ball Players of the CNMI team are Brithney Luzama, AJ Sablan, Jesse Joe Mesa, Keiji Palacios, Jun Atalig, Sheian Lizama, Devin Flores and Eliray Castro.
