Dave Kautz ignited the winning momentum for the Ol Aces after connecting three baskets for 6 points for the Ol Aces while teammates Trevor Ogumoro scored 4 points and Ryan Ichihara, Douglas Dillay, Ryan Lisua, and John Nekaifis, Wes Tomokane each scored a basket to contribute two pence per player respectively. The Ol Aces dominated the game early with a total score of 25-7 in the firs quarter.
Reinold Ferrer was the lone star for Saina after collaring 4 points for his team. The Ol Aces then formed an immovable barrier against Saina’s mercenary so they could no longer connect baskets. Ryan Lisua and Tom Web took advantage of Saina’s undefended posts to basket 4 and two pence respectively.
By half time, the Ol Aces were leading by 25 points, 37-12.
Upon entering the second half of the game, the Sainas were not only racing against the Ol Aces but time as well.
Tom Web, Kevin De Leon, and Luther Taylor each scored 2 points a piece after their momentary 3 minutes silence in the third quarter. Reinold Ferrer was seen on the court again taking advantage of the Ol Aces’ momentary silence to score 4 points for the Sainas in his attempt to close the gap.
But the damage was too hard to fix as the Ol Aces mulled the Sainas in the earlier quarters.
Both teams entered the last quarter of the game with high spirits. But the Ol Aces domineered after Ryan Lisua and Kevin De Leon scored 6 points a piece followed by 8 points from Ryan Ichihara and Trevor Ogumoro to secure the win against the Sainas, 68-29.
