The game was relatively even throughout the first thirty minutes of play as neither team could hold momentum.
The Ol’ Aces stretched their lead from two to seven in the first two quarters behind a balanced scoring attack that got them up, 16-9, heading into halftime.
Rollers 1 came out of the break stronger with their balanced scoring attack, limiting the Ol’Aces under ten points and trimming the lead back to two with one quarter left to play in the game.
But the Ol’ Aces’ Sahj Hossain went off in the fourth and scored eight points, while his teammate, Juan Maratita, posted six as part of a 20-point quarter for the team to grab the 12-point victory.
The Ol’ Aces’ Maratita was the game’s leading scorer with 16 big points, while Hossain notched up 12. They were the only ones in double-figures for the Ol’Aces.
John Darag led the way for Rollers 1 with six points. Ralph Francisco and Lawrence Deleon Guerrero posted five each. No one on their team scored doubl-digit points.

Sonics 80, NMC Proa 25
In the other game that day, the Rotary League saw a huge blowout as the Sonics destroyed the NMC Proa, 80-25.
The Proa only managed a single field goal in the first quarter courtesy of Mark Madreo, but the team was outscored by nine in the opening period.
NMC had a better scoring output in the second with12 points, but was outscored by ten as the Sonics extended their lead to 19, going into recess.
The Proa just couldn’t get anything going as they scored five in the third and six in the fourth.
The Sonics showed no mercy as they pounded the Proa en route to a 55-point victory.
