Old Iskool’s Ed Pangelinan brought home an RNV Villaroyal gift certificate after being named Best Player of the Game. He launched a total of five long-range shots to give his team a big lead throughout the game.
Abuy, for his part, contributed three behind-the-arc shots to secure Old Iskool’s 95-75 victory.
With George De Guzman, Pangelinan and Grinpula igniting their offensive with easy makes, Old Iskool took the lead in the first quarter.
Ritual and Calbone carried Islander to keep pace in the first canto, contributing 11 and 10 points respectively.
Grinpula sizzled in the beginning of the second half, adding 10 more points to stretch the gap. He contributed 14 points; Abuy totaled 13; De Guzman had 10; and Bartolo chipped in six.
Ritual led Islander with 32 points.
Umali delivered 16 points while Calbona contributed 10.
On Saturday, Blue Hauz routed Gilas Batang, 130-76 as Esdrelon blazed with two-pointers.
