Laly Four, previously undefeated going into the semi-finals, was eliminated after losing two games to the Strykers.
The Aces came very close to knocking out Power-Up which had to come from behind to win the game.
In the semi-finals, the Strkers edged out Power-Up in 2-point serves 22 to 21. Neither team scored a backcourt 2-point play and the Strykers outscored Power-Up in 3-point goals 7 to 5.
Both of these teams were “scunked” in the semi-finals or lost a set with zero points scored: the Strykers scunked Laly Four twice and the Aces scunked Power-Up once.
The Rocball championship games will be held in the MHS gym starting Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 11:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and possibly longer.
