One more day for Tournament of Champions

There will be many prizes that are being offered for this epic tournament. Two-$50,000 hole in one prize courtesy of AON; a hole in one on #7 on the West course or Hole # 11 on the East. “AON has enjoyed a long relationship with TOC,” said AON Insurance’s regional director Rod Rankin. “Our   staff and management are pleased to support TOC and the beautification projects that have been completed in the last 15 years.”

For the seventh year, Joeten Motors has committed to become a hole-in-one prize sponsor for the upcoming Tournament of Champions.   The sponsorship will allow golf participants a chance to win a hip 2010 Kia Soul with a hole in one on Lao Lao West Course #13. “Joeten Motors is excited to have the Kia Soul be part of this year’s TOC as a hole in one prize,” said Matt Deets, general manager of Joeten Motors.  We have supported TOC for number of years and are happy to support what TOC has been, and will be able to do for the Island of Saipan.”

A brand new 2010 Toyota Yaris will be waiting for the lucky TOC golfer who can get a hole in one on West course hole #3 at Lao Lao Bay Golf and Resort.  Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the Tournament of Champions will bring two days of golf and exciting prizes to Saipan this weekend. Doug Brennan, general manager of Microl said “We are proud to be a part of TOC and have seen what the beautification fund has done for Saipan.”  We hope someone will win the Yaris at this weekend’s tournament,” he added.

A Harley Davidson Motorcycle from American Iron Horse and $25,000 from Bank of Hawaii will also be given as a joint hole-in-one prize.  In addition, $1,000 will be awarded to who ever is the closest to the pin on hole #15 – East.

Along with these great prizes, cash prizes are also being offered. First place winners in the Men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior Flights will each receive $600 cash, $500 for second, $400 for third, a digital camera to fourth, and $100 DFS gift certificate for  fifth place.

The Ladies Low Gross champion will receive $600, $500 for second, and $400 for third place.  The Ladies Low Net first through third places will receive a trophy.

A new addition for the 15th annual tournament will be a Golf Ball Drop. TOC players will have the chance to purchase golf balls and win $15,000 if their ball is dropped in the designated area and selected by special drawing.  The $1-million shootout will return with each ticket holder having five chances to walk away with $1 million dollars.
