Osisang Chilton shines at Rotary Club’s walkathon

As part of the opening of the 14th Annual Rotary Club of Palau Fishing Derby, 43 participants of different nationalities and of various ages came to join the morning walk and run race. However it was the more energetic and lively Osisang Chilton shined above all who came for the race.  She reached the finish line at 26:39 seconds for a distance of 5 kilometer that runs from Riptide Beach to Ngrachamayong Cultural Center and back. As a result, young Chilton left her female challengers to win first spot. A second behind her is Marica Otto, who managed to come in as number two female to arrive with a time of 26:40 then trailed by Liz Avore who settled for third with a time of 30:04.

For the Males, Mike’s time of 21:31 got him first place while Palau High School student Sngerbard Melairei went to get second place when he was able to finish the course with a time of 22:03. Following him is Jose who was able to be done with his route at a time of 23:32.
