Bornovski, Chilton tops Open Ocean Swim

Of all the 50 participants who joined the Open Ocean Swim 250m and 500m test of different categorical class Saturday, it was the young Bornovski, a member of the Palau Swim team, who stroked for a time of 8:14:51 to top the 500 meter open class male division as well as being first overall. Chasing him is another young swimmer, Ketengel Domingo another member of the swim team who finished the course at 10:04:88 to get second place followed by Yuri Ito who came in at a time of 10:17:76 to seize third spot. 

On the other division, very young swimmer Chilton snatched first place on the female class when she swam for 9:09:73, while being trailed by Liz Avore’s time of 9:21:03 to get second spot pursued by Laura McDonald who was placed third after finishing the route at 9:30:35.

As for other event winners, Junior Class (13 and under) 250m, we have Dirngulbai Misech who got #1, Ebsang Taima #2, then Ikelau Misech at #3 for the Female Class; Male Class #1 Joshua Kumangai. Event #2; Female Class, #1 Marica Otto, #2 Elsei Tellei; Male Class, #1 Jeremiah Hugilellfiy, #2 Chester Piyurigyol, #3 Mathew Yareouitepiy.  Event # 4 500m; Female, #1 Alexandra Foster, #2 Baklai Temengil, #3 Pia Morei; Male, #1 Tino Faatuaala, #2 Scott Walsh, #3 Komatsu Masakazu.
