Palacios, Berline, Gabaldon hand IT&E easy win vs. Moonlight

Palacios’ streak in the first quarter put IT&E in safe hand, Berline kept collecting fouls to secure four free throws and Gabaldon fired his first three-pointer to stretch the lead.

Palacios sizzled with 12 more points in the second quarter as IT&E went on to dominate the court nailing Moonlight to 30 points.

Edsel Mendoza and Berline delivered more points at this period to keep IT&E pull away, despite Joey Patricio’s three-pointer for Moonlight.

Gabaldon went ballistic again at the quarter as Mendoza and Berline continued the surge keeping the IT&E in the upper ground.

Enjoying an insurmountable lead, the IT&E got all the luxury of slowing down in the fourth quarter and watch the time dwindle away.

Erwin Gomez and Armando Anasan chipped in six and four of their total points in the fourth quarter to keep pace behind.

Gabaldon hit his third three-pointer, and Bernie Tejada added two points to cap IT&E’s 91-40 win.

Palacios tallied 24 points and Berline had 21 points.

Team Nine 58,PTC Grease Lightning 32

All members of both Team Nine and PTC Grease Lightning delivered while complying with all-players-must-play rules.

However, Team Nine who invested more in the second period outscored the Lightning, 58-32.

Rey Miguel who helped Jack Diaz lead the offense in the first quarter was still heating up in the fourth to finish with 13 points.

Jack Diaz who basketed three straight two-pointers in the first, added six more in the third to tally 12 points while George Poquiz added 11 points.
