Tournament coordinator, Rufino Aguon has released the registration yesterday to those who are interested to join the league where team “Yes for Casino” won the championship and brought home $500 last year.
The tournament will be held on Sept. 20, 21, 27, and 28.
Aguon announces that they will be holding a mandatory meeting with interested coach and managers at the Northern Marianas College Gym at 5 p.m., to determine scheduling of teams.
The entrance for this year’s tournament will be $400.00.
A minimum of eight and maximum of 12 teams will be accepted.
The deadline to enter the teams is on Sept. 12.
The tournament, Aguon said starts on Sept. 20, at 8 a.m., and the games will be a double elimination format.
Cash prize of $1000.00 and a carved trophy awaits the championship Team.
All team players or members must sign the attached waiver form. Failure to sign will result ineligibility of the player.
The International Softball Federation Rules will be used, except there will be no homeruns allowed. A home run will be considered an out.
