In preparation for the tournament, a technical meeting will be held today at the Northern Marianas College gym at 6:30 pm. A total of ten slots will be available in the tournament. Applications for all teams will be treated at a first come, first serve basis, and slots will be guaranteed as soon as the entrance fee of $100 is paid.
According to PCA President Rufino Aguon, their major sponsor Docomo Pacific will be providing $500 and a banner for the tournament.
Games will take place in September 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26. This will be the fourth year of the tournament.
A carved trophy and cash prize of $300 will be presented to the winning team in Saturday, October 2, during the 16th Palau Independence Day celebration.
