Back-to-back layups from Aba Tagle, Zack Babauta, and Danny Dayrit proved fatal to Triple J in the opening 10 minutes.
PTC pulled away, 29-10 early in the first period. Jerome Reyes added six points in the third quarter and two in the fourth for his 14 total. Lawrence Buniag, Melvin Capalad, and Babauta each had their chance at the basket, earning eight points each.
PTC sparked its winning-spree from the league’s opening game, with a single-point victory over Satbahi last month. Bon Tamayo launched the team’s first and final three-pointer in the first half.
Triple J – struggling to keep up – advanced only eight points in the final quarter. Bobby Geli led the pack with 12 points, Jan Obnimaga tallied nine, and Teddy Bugay scored 10.
Multiple turnovers and a well-balanced offensive ultimately sped the game for Lauron and his crew. Art Trajano’s defensive rebounds made PTC an even harder force to deal with in the second half.

Cargo Express 80, Archers 67
Cargo Express-Sea Bridge remains unbeaten after snatching an 80-67 win over team Archers-Lions Club.
Jun Itaas lifted Cargo Express with 16 points, and Lerio Pagarao scored 18 before fouling out in the fourth quarter.
Kelvin Fitial went one on one with Archers’ Larry Sharry in the closing five minutes to bag four more points. Cargo Express jumped 10 points ahead in the first half and capitalized on their lead to secure the game. Sonny Lerio hammered two jumpers in the third quarter while Fitial shot two free throws.
The Cargo Express’ 28-point leap in final period was more than enough to keep the pressured Archers away. Lerio, Rosel Ritual, and Won Joo Jung garnered eight points apiece, Gus Loste and Nomer Archangel scored two each, and White Capalad tallied six to extend the team’s already huge lead.
Archers’ Noel David fouled out seconds before Pagarao, leaving both teams one player short. Rex Yabut mustered eight more points, Mike Cruz hustled for five, and Rommel Usi added three. Gilbert Miranda and James Abuy scored a combined 22 points for the Archers.
