PTI in 3-game winning streak, beats Tinian, 94-72

League during last Friday’s game at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.  

Mendoza scored 26 points including two three-pointers in the first and final quarter.

His easy two-point and backed up by Elmer Esdrelon’s rainbow shot from the arc helped close the gap and let PTI took the lead in the third quarter.

Then there came Sanciangco who rampaged with two-point shots halfway to the final quarter.

PTI’s tight defense limit Tinian’s score to 77 in the fourth quarter, as Mendoza and Sancianco continue to scatter points.

Bruce Berline’s offensive rebounds put him into scoring spree right from the beginning of the game.  He scored 23 points and also helped PTI keep distance in the third quarter.

Anthony Borja exploded from three-point territory to score 27 for Tinian.

Julian Santos and Ringo Reyes   each, added 17 point before they were stopped minutes to the final buzzer.

Autonomous in the second game won by forfeit after the Department of Public Safety lacked players to start the game.
