Rangamar to redeem himself in ROP 7

Cruz, 22, of Spike 22 Purebred Guam won his URCC belt last year in the 135 pound also earning him his mixed martial arts record of 14-2.

Rangamar on the other hand is one of the top fighters of Saipan being well-trained in one of the island’s top fight teams—Marianas Elite.

He was having a good fight against Japan’s Yasohiro Matomura in the Pacific Extreme Combat last month keeping the upper ground from the very start of the fight.

Unfortunately, he  got caught in the triangle and lost the PXC 17 Fearless title to Matomura.

His winning spirit however, remained which constantly drove him to challenge tough guys in the region, and The Shocker is among them.

Cuki Alvarez, president of Trench Tech Purebred said the match up came up as he started reviewing the stats and records, plus the motivation coming from the fighters themselves.

“One of those he really wants to fight is Justin,” Alvarez said referring to Rangamar.

Rangamar’s desire to redeem himself will make the ROP “Fist of Fury” another exciting fight of the year.
