Representing Marianas Elite, Rangamar took on ‘Bad’ Brad Palacios. Both fighters were evenly matched in the first round as Rangamar charged past Palacios’ kicks. Palacios’ second kick attempt left him vulnerable for a few moments, giving way for his foe to launch a couple jabs.
At the start, ‘Bad’ Brad seemed to have the advantage with a record eight wins and three losses. This didn’t matter to Rangamar, whose deadly blows weakened Palacios halfway through the fight.
“He was moving too quick. I just tried to take him down,” said Rangamar.
He had the advantage on the ground, striking Palacios with a couple elbows from a half guard position. Rangamar later slipped for a rear naked choke and ended the match 1 minute and 52 seconds in the second round.
“I’m just gonna train harder and climb all the way to the top,” he noted after landing his fifth win.
