Rangers who defended their playoffs bid by routing Komoro, 35-7 last week tied with Falcons in the second place at the end of the regular season.
They are now one game shy to SML championship after beating Falcons two days ago.
JP Sablan who relieved Pete Tenerio in the eighth inning had no strike out and allowed only one hit but held Falcons scoreless in the eighth, ninth and 10th inning.
Clifton walked in the eighth and advanced to the second on stolen base. His base hit in the final inning allowed Sablan to score a run when Evangelista missed the land drive.
Ben Taisacan went 3-for-4 and hit an RBI scoring Rob Banzil who had inched his way to the third base on stolen base. Taisacan also scored a run in the fourth inning.
Banzil scored a run and Sablan hit one single.
Evangelista hit a run-scoring single for Falcons and Ken Kalen went 1-for-2 and hit a double in the fourth inning.
JR Suel hit an RBI driving Henry Iguel home and BJ Sablan added a single and scored a run on passed ball.
The Falcons still have the chance to tie it with the Rangers and go for the final game of the best-of-three playoff.
Meanwhile, the D9ers and pennant champion, Rocky Steady are set to meet last night for the first game of the playoff vying also for the championship game.
