This match, according to Trench Tech promoter Cuki Alvarez who accompanied Tanzawa, was the third fight of the night.
Tanzawa he said now has an undefeated record of 6-0.
Chris “No LuV” Laayug was dominating his match up with Josh Alvarez from Team Countershot Guam in the entire first round but had his first lost in his career as he exhausted some steam in the second round and eventually lost via refferee stoppage at 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
Arnold “Killer B” Balbin also lost a hard fought bout to top fighter Micah “The Ikaika Warrior”.Tobias from Team Purebred Spike 22 Ground FU Guam.
Balbin had three chances to win the fight by guillotine choke but could not complete the opportunity. He eventually lost by TKO at four minutes in the first round.
This left Tobias to remain undefeated with this win and extends his record to 7 wins and 0 loss. This was the first bout of the evening.
In the Main event, Charlston “:The Predator” Aiken from Saipan, loss to PXC’s heavyweight champ, Roque Martinez from Purebred/spike 22 Guam for the second straight time.
This was dubbed “The Rematch Of The Century” by matchmakers.
Aiken was in good condition and looked very sharp in his stand up fighting and ground fighting as well and almost sunk in an ankle lock with just 10 seconds remaining in the first round.
But time expired and both heavyweights headed into round two with intensity, both coming out very aggressive and determined to knock each other out.
Charleston gained ground in the stand up exchange but decided to take down the heavyweight champion where he eventually lost to a heel hook submission forcing Aiken to tap out at three minutes of the third round.
