Ring of Fire 2 to feature 25 action-packed bouts on June 15

TRENCH Tech’s boxing and kickboxing event, Ring of Fire 2, is set for Saturday, June 15, at the Garapan Central Park round house, and will feature 25 action-packed bouts involving fighters from the CNMI and Guam.

Roan De Ocampo (Ind.) and Jyro Cruz (TT) will see action in the first match of the night, a super atomweight boxing event that will followed by a featherweight bout between Kody Palacios (TT) and Josh “The Kold Blooded Soulja” Joson (Ind.).

Next are three kickboxing matches: Dion “Bumble Bee” Ogo (Team Dree) vs. Lorenzo Reyes (TT) in the flyweight class; Teipo Asep (Latte Built) vs. Nate Zhuang (TT) in the lightweight class; and Mateo “The Sledge Hammer” Salvalosa (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) vs Aiden Nekaifes (TrenchTech) in the lightweight class.

Five kickboxing bouts will feature the young guns.

Justin Agulto (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) will face Edwin Kim (TT) in the featherweight class followed by Thomas Agulto (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) and Jerome Reyes (TT) in the bantamweight class; Tyron “The Half Breed” Tumada (Dree Team) and Jun San Nicolas (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) in the light heavyweight class; Gable De Chavez (GuamMuayThai) and BengBeng “Da Dengdeng” Palacios (TT) in the atomweight class; and Marnel Cornileo (GuamMuayThai) and Jeff Quitugua (TT) in another atomweight match.

The main card includes the first kickboxing bout between ladies: Skylee Mesa (GuamMuayThai) vs. Grachen Pintor (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL).

The second kickboxing match will be between Nick Taisacan (MCAMMA/Primevil) and Phil “Prime Time” Gregorio (TT) in the atomweight class followed by another atomweight kickboxing bout between John Lloyd Dela Cruz (TT) vs. Dylan Pomdi (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) K1; Mark Azacron vs. Dylan Benevente (BeneventeStriking/Tha Yard Fitness) in the heavyweight class; Travis Kaipat (Ind.) vs. Jose Camacho (TT) in the lightweight class; Keith Sablan (BENAVENTE STRIKING ACADEMY/THA YARD FITNESS) vs. Neo Skerei (Ind.) in the bantamweight class; and Patterson  “Paddy The Baddy” Joseph (GuamMuayThai) vs. “Shotgun” Mike Camacho (TT) in a boxing bout before the break.

The second half of the night will feature a kickboxing super fight between Guam’s Ethan Aflleje (Benevente Striking) and Saipan’s Andres “Tanapag Beach Bad Boy” Camacho (YoungBoys Inc/TrenchTech) in the bantamweight class.

Four kickboxing bouts will take place before the co-main and main bouts: Tyrese Bokuku (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) vs. Jimmy “Crazy Ray” Polk (TT); Josh Mesa (GuamMuayThai) vs. Jeremiah Salvador (Extreme MMA); Justin Palabay (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL) vs. Donovan Santos (TT); John “Bonez” Lee (GuamMuayThai) vs Saips They (MCAMMA/PRIMEVIL); and a boxing match between Jose Mafnas (Ind.) and Bonnie “Hitman” Sagana (LatteBuilt).

The co-main event will highlight an exciting exchange of fists between Saipan’s Ram “Korean Blood” Lee (TT) and Jake Albert (GuamMuayThai).

In the inaugural ROF, Albert was featured in the main event where he suffered a lost via split decision against Andres “Tanapag Beach Bad Boy” Camacho.

This year, the kickboxing main event is between Isaac Crisostomo (GuamMuayThai) and Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez (TT).

The fight card is subject to change.

Tickets are $25 for all seats and are on sale now at the Boarderline Skate Shop, Hafa Adai Joeten Shopping Center in Garapan and 4EVER CNMI  at the Chalan Laulau Quartermaster intersection. 

Official weigh-ins will be on Friday, June 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the roundhouse. Fans could join for a meet and greet with  the fighters.
