The purpose of this closure and traffic control is to ensure safety for the participants for the upcoming Tagaman Triathlon that would be taking place during these hours.
The areas affected and route of the event is from:
1. The Coral Ocean Point to Kileleman’s cross intersection above the old Immigration Detention Building,
2. Down towards Koblerville main road
3. Then leading north on Beach Road
4. All the way towards Bird Island
5. Then back to Micro Beach.
The roadway leading from Navy Hill/CHC Traffic Light to the Garapan Fire Station in to Micro Beach will be closed between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
All motorists are asked to take “extra precautionary measures” when driving on those affected routes that will be used by the participants of the Tagaman Triathlon.
The public is also advise to secure your dogs during the duration of the Triathalon.
