In the last three regular season games, team Magic defeated the Kingz in three sets “juice” 46-33. Team Yo Face lost to the Kingz 52-29. They also fell to the Hit Its in a game where 14 penalty serves forced the game to end in two sets, losing 29-21.
In the game between the Magics and Kingz, Ryan Ichihara was the heavy hitter with four aces and one xunk for 10 points. In the match between teams Kingz and Yo Face, Kingz’ Melvin Yamit was the game’s heavy hitter with one ace, one xunk, and five kees for 12 points. In teams Yo Face and Hit It’s game, Emrose Made was the heavy hitter with one ace, one xunk, and one kee.
No games were played last week for the community league. A four-team tournament is scheduled for 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18 to determine the league’s top group. The winners will take on the high school Rocball all stars in a best-of-three game series to determine which team will be crowned Rocball’s champions.
