SAE Hee Kim is the 2023 season champion of the CNMI Women’s Golf Association, gathering a total of 157 points at the conclusion of their annual two-day tournament at the Kingfisher Golf Links over the weekend.

On day 1, Saturday, Kim showcased proper placement along with a soft touch to stay in front of the competition, shooting a gross of 84. With a handicap of 7, her net score was 77.

Day 2, Sunday, proved to be the tougher half of the tournament, but not for Kim, who slightly improved her game with a gross of 83, which gave her a net score of 76.

With a total gross of 167 and total net score of 153, Kim clinched the title.

In the 2023 season, she missed only one tournament.

Yuko Togawa, for her part, did not compete in the annual tournament, but she performed well throughout the 2023 season and secured overall second-place with a total of 122 points. Flor Jones settled for third with 110 points.

The annual two-day tournament is the culmination of a year’s work for CWGA.
