On January, action-packed basketball events will be on the neighboring island as Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino is currently organizing a basketball league to include the teams on Saipan.
Northern Marianas Basketball Association President Lito Espino said the Tinian Dynasty is looking at inviting the teams that are actively playing on different leagues on Saipan for the Dynasty Cup Basketball Tournament.
Since the organizer is a hotel, Espino said it is more likely that he will tap the coaches and managers of Hotel Association of Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Tournament that he organized last time.
He said he met with Tinian Dynasty general manager, Tom Liu two weeks ago to discuss the basketball tournament which the hotel plans to start late January.
Espino said he has already contacted the coach and managers of basketball teams of Aqua Resort, Fiesta/Grand, World Resort and Hyatt Regency.
During games, Saipan cagers can have free transportation and accommodations.
