During the opening round of the Singles 301 Double in/ Double out the points were split in half between the two teams. The MixBlood Shooters’ Joshua Wodson drew first blood landing his darts on the doubles area of the board first to score 301 points and seal Ernie Domingo’s loss.
Jojo Guilas and teammate George Medina redeemed the Salbahe Brothers after notching two points in a row with the last point sealed by Monching Castillo.
The MixBlood Shooters remained unfazed upon entering the first doubles event of the night, the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket round and the Partners 501 Double in/ Double out. Joshua Wodson partner William Angeles, Mario Espinoza and partner Ermin Nufable speedily closed 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, to start scoring way ahead of the Salbahe brothers to clinch another two points.
However, the Shooters failed the secure the critical Bull’s Eye on the board. During the latter round they were able to land their darts on the double’s area of the board to start scoring faster than the Salbahe Brothers and to seal the round for two more points.
Despite the MixBlood Shooters’ speed, the Salbahe Brothers achieved a come from behind win in the Singles Regular Cricket, Partners Burma Road, and finally the Team 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round to edge past the Shooters by a hairline, 8-7.
The Salbahe Brothers currently fill in the second place seat with 74 wins and 46 losses while D’Pirates MixBlood Shooters weigh in at 63 wins and 57 losses in third place. High In title is clinched by Ali’i Kamote’s Peejay Naval with 160 points while High Out title is notched by Salbahe Brothers’ George Medina with 127 points.
