Shell, 1st Hawaiian Bank, Aon Insurance sponsor Hole-in-One of Rotary Club golf tourney

Rotary Club said the three sponsors have set aside a total of $30,000 for three holes in the green of LaoLao Bay Golf Resort on Sunday, November 9.

The charity golf tourney will follow a Double Peoria format.

Rotary Club of Saipan pointed out that proceeds of the tournament will go to the Kagman Community Children’s Park.

Shell, First Hawaiian Bank, and Aon will sponsor $10,000 each to the golfer who can fashion a Hole-in-One at designated holes.

Shell will allot $10,000-cash for the winner of the Hole-in-One at Hole #3; First Hawaiian Bank will fund $10,000 to the player who can shoot a Hole-in-One at Hole #13; and Aon will offer $10,000 to the golfer who can make a Hole-in-One at Hole #17.

Rotary Club added that a special prize will be given away to the player who can shoot closest to the pin at Hole #7.

The tournament will award prizes to the top 15 finishers.

First prize is pegged at $500; second prize – $400; third prize – $300; fourth prize – $200; and fifth prize – $100.

Sixth place winner, down to the 10 placer will receive consolation prizes, Rotary Club said.

Other special door prizes will be given away during the awards banquet that will follow immediately after the matches.

The banquet will be held at Laolao Bay’s “The Range”.

Showtime will be at 6 a.m.

Shotgun start at 7 a.m.

Entry fee costs $100.

Prospective participants are reminded to make all checks payable to Rotary Club of Saipan.
