Sinapalo, KoES, OES bag wins in co-ed volleyball

THE co-ed elementary division of the NMIVA-PSS Interscholastic Volleyball League SY23-24 completed its second week of competition with Sinapalo, Koblerville, and Oleai elementary schools earning wins at the Oleai Sports Complex on Friday.

Rota’ Sinapalo Elementary School 1 defeated Grace Christian Academy, 21-15.

SNP 1 consists of Bernice Cayabyab, Brandee Pinaula, Julia Mosqueda, Aldean Masga, Manuel Pinaula, Isaiah Taimanao and Lucas Taitano.  They showcased their skill with a few back-and-forth highlights. GCA fought back, but committed errors that cost them the game, 15-21.

SNP 2 also bagged a win by outlasting Garapan Elementary School 1, 21-17.

Koblerville Elementary School 1, for their part, notched three wins that day.

KoES 1 consists of Alex Aveina, Germaya Sellem, David Billy, Dean Aldan, Christopher DeLeon Guerrero, Tommy Moses, Justin Defang, Vincent Mettao, Lei Pebley, Giovanna Igisaiar, Shynelle Yamada, Rose Shoray, Mary Fitial, Nianale Mettao and Liseipischaang Wabol.

They played well against OES 2, winning 21-9, and was likewise dominant against GCA, which they defeated, 21-10. KoES1 then scored their third win by trouncing SNP 1, 21-11.

Oleai Elementary School 2 lost to KoES 1, but they outscored San Vicente Elementary School 2, 21-12.

Tinian also joined the winner’s circle by besting Saipan International School 1, 21-7.
