THE Black 8 Slayers are climbing up the ladder in the Tuesday division of the 2023 SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball League after trouncing Black 8 Rack N’ Roll, 11-2, at the Black 8 Pool Bar on Tuesday.

In the opening Singles 8-Ball match, Rack N’ Roll’s Sablan drew first blood while teammate Chris Camacho notched the third game. However, the Slayers’ Rey Hermogenes and Ray “Stingray” Matsunaga struck back to even the score 2-2.

Rack N’ Roll were left silent for the remainder of the game while the Slayers’ onslaught began in the Partners 8-Ball match with Matsunaga and Fel Kalen, along with Hermogenes and Boyet Sequioco, pulling a two-win sweep followed by individual victories for a four-win sweep that extended the deficit, 8-2.

Rack N’ Roll still could not get out of the gutter as the Slayers swept the remaining two matches to add three more wins before ending the night with a dominant victory, 11-2.
