After being beaten by one of the stronger team from their respective division on a previous match, MOE Spiders basketball squad remained tough on their schedule by drubbing team PNOC – Mercury, 70 – 68, enroute to their third win in third outing and hang on as Government Division leaders. Yutaka Gibbons Jr. led the charge for team Spiders with 25 points while team PNOC had Ziske Asanuma put up 29.
On that same night of September 28 matches KSG beat team MPIIC with a final tally of 76 -69 with Gino Smau shooting for 24 for KSG whereas, Brooks scored 20 for MPIIC. Business Division team Island Rhythm-68 gets a win against PPR Stingrays after putting up a remarkable balance defensive and offensive attack that ended with a score of 68 – 62.The 21 teams split into two divisions, Government and Business, vying for this year’s championship crown. The 2009 Rudimch Enterprise GBL is operated and under the close supervision of the Palau Basketball Federation.
