COPSSA will be targeting Oct. 7, 8, and 11-15 for any make up games. At the same time, it will use the given dates to prepare for its volleyball tournament. The tournament will be played at the Gilbert C. Ada gymnasium at Susupe, with junior varsity games playing in Oct. 18 and varsity playing in Oct. 25.
8-ball league enters sixth week
The Saipan Billiards Association’s Budweiser 8-Ball League will enter its sixth week today. Scheduled matches are:
USSP Turtles vs. Wild Bills Shark Attack, IT&E Incredibles vs. Jonny’s Home Boyz, Jonny’s IT&E Voyagers vs. D’Pirates Team Pirates, D’Pirates Who-Oah vs. USSP Fotten Palau, and VFW ToroKeyRee vs. NTT Docomo Hustler. The Jonny’s Home Boyz, Jonny’s IT&E Voyagers, and IT&E Incredibles are currently tied in the lead with 24 wins.
Boys varsity baseball starts Thursday
Along with junior varsity and varsity girls’ basketball, the Marianas Intramural Sports Organization will also be kicking off its ‘officially’ conducted baseball game on Thursday. All games will play according to schedule, said MISO acting president Nick Gross.
