All interested fishermen from Saipan, Tinian, and Guam are invited to participate in the 2010 Luta Fishing Derby starting at October 7 to October 8, 2010 from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
The grand prize is set at $10,000 and is up for grabs for anyone who catches 500lbs and above for marlins that will be caught on game day.
This competition is also sponsored by Ambros Inc. Other cash prizes in the bill fish, category wahoo category, yellow fin category, mahi category, and bonita tuna category are also up for grabs. First place, second place, and third place will be awarded with cash prizes as well.
Fishermen from Saipan and Guam upon registration will be allowed to start fishing along their way to Rota.
