ALL coaches for the Northern Marianas Athletics national championship will have a meeting at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym conference room at 4 p.m., today.
Agenda will be confirmation of the final results for all participating schools.
Private schools playoff schedule
THE new schedule for the Coalition of Private Schools Sports Association Basketball Tournament will be as follows:
May 8, Thursday
2:00 – 2nd Seed GCA Boys vs. 3rd Seed MBA Boys (Loser is 3rd place)
4:00 – 3rd Seed GCA Girls vs. 4th Seed MBA Girls (Winner is 3rd place)
May 9, Friday
2:00 – 1st Seed SIS Girls vs. 2nd Seed MCS Girls (Championship Game)
4:00 – 1st Seed MCS Boys vs. Winner of Thursday’s Boys’ Game (Championship Game)
King and Queen of the Diamonds Coed Softball Tournament
THE 4th King and Queen of the Diamonds which for the first time, will be called Coed Softball Tournament as the team of 15 players will have two females on the field at all times.
For the past three years annual softball tournament which is now in its 4th year has always been for male players.
The winners in this year’s tournament will have the chance to compete in the final tournament of champions in Palau in November this year.
