Summer tee ball ends with games

The day consisted of a tug of war, relay race, ball toss, and home-run derby competition between the six active teams. The teams, each containing a 15-player-roster, included the Bad News Bears, Little Nabutti, Little Rascals, Da Sluggers, Team Zogai, and Da Rookies.

Numerous parents were active in coaching their respective teams. A “Cover Home” slogan was actively promoted by everyone involved, which was intended to prevent crime as well as alcohol and drug use in the community.

The summer league was active every Saturday and was started in mid-June.

About a hundred children participated in the Tee Ball League, with kids aging 3 to 8 years old. Fellow family members were also active in the coordination of the event, which was headed by NSA President Doru Camacho and Vice President Ned Norita.
