Each Group in the church came in as “Areas I-VI” that also became their team names. There were no specific age qualifications but most of the players who attended were 14 years of age and older.
The sports spirit and charisma was alive in each player as they competed for titles as the competition unraveled that night.
During the fist game Area I butted volleyball skills with Area II. Area 1 bested Area II. The final score was 2 winning sets opposed to zero. The first score was Area I-25 and Area II-19 the winning set scores were Area I-25 and Area II- 20. It was a really close game as the crowd went wild for Area I.
In the next and final game of the night, Area II challenged Area IV. Area IV won with three winning sets to zero. The first scores were AreaIV-25 and Area II-20, the second scores were Area IV-25 and Area II-20, and the final scores were Area VI-25 and AreaII-24. The final game was even closer.
The organization that was established in the Philippines will be celebrating their 96th anniversary. They will have a big celebration event in which the public is very much invited on July 27 in the Marianas High School Gymnasium.
