In the first round for the double’s match up, Pirates’ Pet Cepeda and Rodney Aldan take on USSP’s Arnel Orbita and Taylor Watanabe. In the 1st game Cepeda and Aldan beat Orbita and Watanabe.
That did not weaken their hearts and instead, Orbita and Watanabe pocketed the second game home. That threw the competition early into sudden death and team Pirates won the third game bringing the point home.
In the second round of the doubles’ match up, Pirates’ Edward Suzuki and Juan Camacho go against USSP’s Jon Mongami and Ron Chisato. Suzuki and Camacho proved no match for Mongami and Chisato; they pocketed both the 1st and the second game bringing the scores to an even 1-1.
In the first round of the singles’ match up, Pirates’ Pat Cepeda butted skills against USSP’s R.E Rengiil. Cepeda wins the first game; however that did not daunt Rengiil. He won the second game again dipping the competition into sudden death. But Cepeda pocketed the tie-breaker round and took the point home to a total score of 2-1 over USSP’s Fotten Palau. In the second round of the singles’ match up, Pirates’ Rodney Aldan goes against USSP’s Arnel Orbita. Orbita easily glided through winning the first and second game evening the score out to 2-2.
In the third round of the singles’ match up Pirates’ Edward Suzuki is partnered up with USSP’s Taylor Watanabe. Suzuki pulled through and won the first and second game advancing the Pirates one point ahead, 3-2. In the 4th and final round of the singles’ division, Pirates’ Pat Refualei was up against USSP’s John Mongami. Refualei pocketed the first and second game not even giving Mongami a chance. Refualei brought the winning point home. They were then crowned the 8-ball Champions for the Obyan division.
