As part of the 25th year anniversary of the world renowned Palau Pacific Resort and after putting up series of tournament for beginners and intermediate players conducted several months back, the Palau Tennis Federation in connection with the beautiful island resort announces once more a tennis tournament on the 19th and 20th of September from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. The competition, which will be held at the tennis courts of the previously named hotel, is a singles tournament for advanced tennis players where it will showcase local talents.
With the two day tennis event registration fee pegged at $10.00 for each participant, tennis players interested in signing up for these exciting matches are asked to contact the Recreation Department of the Palau Pacific Resort, Larry Wakakoro – President of the Palau Tennis Federation or Ernestine Rengiil – Tournament Director at 488 – 3935.In the meantime, tennis classes for children and adults will begin soon at the Palau Pacific Resort tennis courts. Any children and adults who are interested in educating themselves in the sport of tennis are requested to contact the PPR Recreational Department or call 488 – 3935.
