‘The Crank’ gears up in Brazilian jujitsu

Camacho who had brought honor to the CNMI after winning off-island fights in mixed martial arts was awarded his belt at Lloyd Irvin Brazillian Jujitsu Academy in Maryland.

Blue Belt is a milestone promotion in Brazilian Jujitzu, says Cuki Alvarez, president of Trench Tech Inc.

He said it usually takes two years to accomplish this feat and Camacho succeeded in having it in just under a year.

The CNMI fighter, Alvarez said continues to compete in Brazilian jujitsu tournaments in the U.S.

A 19-year-old, Camacho continues to win as he represents the CNMI with pride.

“He is a great ambassador to the CNMI and continues to make us all proud! Biba Frank the Crank,” Alvarez said.

Camacho moved from Guam as a teenager to personally train with Team Lloyd Irvin’s Martial Arts Academy at 6333 Old Branch Ave #302 Camp Springs, MD 20748.
