DCCA crushes POI, PSS turns ire at CRM/DEQ

DCCA and POI were tied in the first inning with three successive runs scored by first three batters of both teams.

But that was it for POI because DCCA centerfielder Julian Camacho, right fielder James Fleming and outfielder Mario Sablan were in the right spot to capture fly balls helping DCCA hold POI scoreless in the second, third and fourth inning.

Ken Kaipat drove in Will Sablan with sacrifice fly in the first inning.

POI’s Louie Camacho and Frank Acosta scored runs in the final innings but that were losing attempts in the fifth because the DCCA sluggers have blasted them with three runs and six base hits in the fourth to secure their 16-5 victory.

Julian Camacho hit a run-scoring home run in the top of the first and fourth innings.

Joey Dela Cruz and James Fleming also rocketed a ball for home runs over right fielder, Jun Kaipat in the fourth inning.

DCCA pitcher, Mel Sakisat struck out Highness Asanuma in the fourth inning. He gave up only six hits and allowed five runs.

Fleming hits three RBIs, while Craig Sanchez, Pete Tomokane and Jun Saralu added one RBI each.

Finance, 9,

DCCA (Women) 7

In Women’s Division, the DCCA bats girls were in the other side of the coin.

They failed to stop, Finance’ Emma Tenorio after Linda Crisostomo drove her home in the sixth inning.

The score was tied, 6-6 when Bego Camacho kept them scoreless in the rest of the remaining innings to secure the two-run lead and grab the win, 9-7.

Camacho struck out three and gave up 12 hits.

Crisostomo and Lilian Pangelinan had three RBIs and Charlene Cabrera added two RBIs.

PSS 25, CRM/DEQ 10

Public School System sluggers went ballistic bombing Coastal Resource Management/Division of Environmental Quality during the first game.

John Terlaje homered and scored Emery Fitial in the third inning for his three RBIs.

Sim Iramk who who drove Fitial in in sacrifice fly in the first inning, rampaged in the rest of the game hitting go-ahead single and a double in the final inning.

Jeff Isaac hit two singles and Nizer Misayos added two.

Terlaje struck out Jon Arriola to complete the victory, 25-10.
