With a detailed route that goes from a swim of 500 m, riding a bike for 20 km then running for 5 km for the Sprint category – Open Male, Gilham was able to put the best time among his competitors at 1 hour 45 minutes and 54 seconds to garner the first place for his class and first overall.
In the Olympic course formatted as 1,500 meter swim, 40 kilometer bike, and 10 kilometer run, Laura McDonald left dust to her challengers on the Open Female Class, as she was able to finish the grueling course in a shortest time of 3 hours 23 minutes and 10 seconds to be grab number spot.

In the company of more than 20 participant of the triathlon challenge on the early
Saturday morning, who was treated with hefty and healthy breakfast after the challenge, which also served as a preparation of the Rainbow Challenge that will happen sometime next month, was indeed a success.
Meantime, the Belau Triathlon Federation would like to announce ahead of time of the next triathlon event and an Open – Ocean Swim that will happen on December 5 in which all interested participants are to get themselves geared up.
