Finding themselves down by six points entering the second half of their match against a powerful team of MOF, Galaxy squad stepped on the gas at the early stages of the third canto to score eight unanswered points to gain the lead. However with an experienced team who played together for such long time, MOF was able to formulate a run on their own to end the quarter with a one point lead, 62 – 61, with the help of Roydan’s 22 total points and Sunshine’s 19 markers.
Knowing that their opponent came with only seven players, team Galaxy put up an aggressive man to man defensive that paid great dividends when they got back to back steals to score on fast break points. After a balanced offensive attack coming from Alambra, Castro, Senandre, and Supnet who contributed with 14, 16, 14, and 11, Galaxy squad finally put MOF away with a final tally of 77 -74.
Resulting from the win, Galaxy now advances to the final four teams in which they will facing off with team Palau Pacific Resort – Shark Attack which is being played first game as of presstime, while team MOE – Spiders who is the only government team left after the loss of their brothers from MOF, will be seeing action on second game against the Palau Royal Resort – Royals also as of presstime to determine who will play for the crown are as follows
