Viñas took the lead in keeping the Torch Bearers in the front by firing a total of 14 points.
Jhun Abedes led the scoring surge in the first half firing 14 markers including two three-pointers. Abedes tallied a total of 19 points.
Lyric C. also helped the Torch Bearers put up the strong lead with his 16 points.
Roel Cayanan’s three-pointer for Lynn’s BBQ in the last few second came too late as Lyric and Viñas already maintained the lead and the Torch Bearers refused to give way leading to their 84-75 victory.
Moonlight 81, Viel’s 79
After a brief appearance in the first half of the game, Montano B blasted from behind the arc to secure the lead as he backed Illahi up in the final quarter to secure their victory, over Viel’s 81-79.
Martin M. led Moonlight with a fresh two-pointer and helped defend the lead finishing with 14 points.
Illahi tallied 20 points including the three straight two-pointers in the fourth quarter.
