Two in a row for MHS II

MARIANAS High School II bagged their second victory in the girls high school division of the NMIVA-PSS Interscholastic Volleyball League by taking down Saipan Southern High School II in two sets Thursday at the MHS gym. 

MHS II took complete control of the opening set. Teamwork and consistency played a major factor in their performance as they moved in sync and controlled the pace of the game to win the first set, 21-8. 

In the second set, SSHS II started to gain more confidence with better returns that forced MHS II to commit  errors. But sheer hustle was still not enough as MHS II gradually bounced back to come out victorious once again, 21-15. 

SIS II vs KHS II

Saipan International School II notched their first win of the season by defeating Kagman High School II in a three-set game. 

SIS II started off on the right foot as they worked their way around the weakside to claim the first set, 21-13.

KHS II recovered in the second set as they applied constant pressure to win, 21-15, and force a third and final set. 

KHS II fought hard, but SIS II focused on gaining control and succeeded in sealing the deal, 15-11. 

Grace Christian Academy also remain undefeated as they notched their second win by defeating Mount Carmel School, 21-14, 21-15.
